No. 3-ranked Riverside City College had a tough draw to close out the Orange Coast College tournament Saturday, taking on eighth-ranked OCC and top-ranked Long Beach City College. The Tigers battled but fell to the Pirates by just one goal (14-13) before conceding a 22-9 defeat to the Vikings.
RCC moves to 2-2 on the year, while OCC sits at 4-4 and Long Beach remains undefeated at 8-0.
Yosra Elseifi finished the day with six goals, two assists, five steals, and two ejections drawn for Riverside. Brooklyn Wagner chipped in five goals and three assists.
The Tigers make their home debut on Thursday, taking on San Joaquin Delta College at 3 p.m. before hosting a two-day tournament of their own on Friday and Saturday.
