Three Tigers Earn More Postseason Accolades
After finishing as the 3C2A State Runner-Up, Riverside City College saw three Tigers earn more postseason accolades.
Yosra Elseifi and Angelina Beall each grabbed first-team All-SoCal and All-State honors, while Presley Burrell picked up second-team All-SoCal and All-State recognition.
Elseifi led the Tigers, the OEC and the State in scoring, finishing with 158 goals on the year. She also led with 130 steals and 269 shots, while sitting second in the state with 69 ejections drawn.
Beall was a dominant force to be reckoned with for Riverside, finishing with 131 goals (second in the 3C2A), 15 assists and 30 steals. The sophomore attacker also drew 41 ejections and had two field blocks on the year.
Burrell finished the year with 22 goals, 43 assists and 45 steals. She scored an impressive six goals in the Tigers' opening SoCal 19-18 win over Golden West and netted three goals in the 3C2A State Semifinal to send RCC into the championship game, where she had two assists.
